Access keys

Access Keys have been implemented throughout the site. Access Keys allow you to activate a link using only your keyboard.

Access Key combinations

The procedure for using Access Keys, or “keyboard shortcuts” varies depending on which web browser you view the site with. The following table shows the Access Key combinations for a range of popular web browsers:

Navigate pages through headings

Recent versions of screen readers can navigate using the following keystrokes:

H	cycle forwards through the headings
Shift + H	cycle backwards through the headings
1	navigate to the next level 1 heading (or a number between 1 and 6 to navigate to the next heading on this level)
Shift + 1	navigate to the previous level 1 heading (or a number between 1 and 6 to navigate to the previous heading on this level)
INSERT + F6	provide a list of all headings
